I had lost my original remote control for my TV, purchased a cheapie RCA universal remote to replace it and from there, paired it to this handy sideclick device

Learns the codes very well and in general is just a great device

The device was simple to setup, and works great.

I do not require an expensive 8-12 device highly "sophisticated" universal remote.

If it was strictly an electronics review, the device works perfectly and would get 5 stars, however, since I find it hard to use, I probably won't get additional units for my other fire TV's

Highly recommended if you've got a Fire remote as an affordable way to streamline 2 or 3 remotes into one convenient device

It does not say in big bold letters that your device is inoperable without them
