Good quality feel

The quality and clarity of this lens has made it my favorite to use with my business

In other words they are trying to replace a good focusing mechanism and a good quality control by charging the customer money to do their job

The Nikkor 24-70 isn't exactly the sharpest lens either, but I think that the quality is good enough even wide open

I have kept the 1 star rating because I believe this product is overly hyped with many bad lenses sold, proving poor quality control from the manufacturer

Also, the Sigma 50's bokeh while much smoother than the Sigma 35, lacks the silky quality of the Canon's primes...particularly the Canon 85 1.2 and 50 1.2 (which I owned for a while).

I can't completely explain it without pictures, but because of the high contrast of the lens, the bokeh balls tend to be very prominent and have a sharp quality to them

Excellent build quality fit and function

It is very heavy, I can almost compare it to the 24-105 L, but it feels well balanced and screams out quality

For almost $1000 it shouldn’t be having such a poor quality.

Chances are you'll find that some of your lenses aren't performing quite as well as they could. :

Just keep in mind that F1.4 on a full frame body will have significant out of focus blur, so the picture may not have come out as sharp as you'd like due to this reason
