I've used it on two family portrait sessions over the last couple of weeks and the results were brilliant

The results are so worth it though.

By the way, this is not a technical review - there are quite enough of those, but I'm just a portrait photographer who loves using this lens and the sharp results I get from it

After you are happy with how frequent your autofocus works fine, be sure to test OTHER apertures to make sure you are getting good results consistently

- I had some of them up to +20 (the max) at one point!Once I changed out the target and followed the proper procedure, I got some fantastic results.

I don't think I can add anything else that hasn't been said here: the lens is super sharp, produces very nice results, but requires a lot of trial and error before getting used to it.

I used Canon 6D and also had great results using my Canon 7D.

The bokeh is 2nd to none and the sharpness blows my 24-70mm L out of the water.
