Plus, I lost my previous flash drive and didn't realize it until the next day, but you cant get very far without your keys

Works well, enclosure is really nice (don't have to worry about it breaking off your keychain and losing your drive), but it takes about 15-20 seconds to mount on several different computers (Windows 7 and OS X), whereas other similar drives take about 3-5 seconds.

If you use both systems or share with friends, you need to format it exFAT in your Mac to make it compatible with both systems and larger files (reportedly, will cause some compatibility problems with old versions of OS X and Windows).Other than that, I like this USB drive and is working just fine.

Should it ever fail I will update the review, but I have had absolutely no issues whatsoever at this point, and after having been through multiple flash drives from multiple companies, I know that this will be my go to for portable flash drives, the next time I need another one!

Imaging a hard drive is a read-only operation, so it should not ever cause data corruption.

The metal case has done a great job of protecting the drive and is only showing slight wear on the finish after approximately a year of in and out of my pocket

I would not recommend this thumb drive to anyone.

I am one of those people who puts my scan drive on my keys and then hangs them from the computer.... which always results in breakage.
