It's a good starter kit.

If you wanted a state of the art amp, great strap, hardshell case, etc, you'd be way over $500, and that defeats the purpose of buying this cheaper kit

I would recommend this kit to anyone that wants to learn to play the bass at a very low entry price.

Overall the kit is decent.

The kit looks great and all, but I was chomping at the bit to start learning the basics, and the defective video really put a damper on my mood

Otherwise the kit is great
