It's a good starter kit.
-
If you wanted a state of the art amp, great strap, hardshell case, etc, you'd be way over $500, and that defeats the purpose of buying this cheaper kit
-
I would recommend this kit to anyone that wants to learn to play the bass at a very low entry price.
-
Overall the kit is decent.
-
The kit looks great and all, but I was chomping at the bit to start learning the basics, and the defective video really put a damper on my mood
-
Otherwise the kit is great
-
Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable start up kit!
-
Elsewise, it is a perfectly satisfactory bass kit.
-
Based on the looks and reviews, this seemed to be the best bass kit for the price
-
Awesome!!!This is a great starter kit!

For only $300 ($110 more), a full starter kit from Squier (by Fender) is much nicer and will last longer for your needs [Just search for the Squier Affinity which you can get in either Precision Bass or Jazz Bass styles].Personally, I'm going to be buying the following:-Squier (by Fender
