Not impressed - plays very loud and does not have a good sound

My 8 year old is using this reed and progressing well, she is happy with it and the sound is good for a beginner

I'm a student at Lane and it plays great for the first 2 months or so which is a great lifespan and the sound is not bad

It does not produce a very rich sound.
