I read the manual and it says if in a big city just put the antenna near a window and it should work great
-
We have the antenna snaked throught the room that the boombox usually stays - the wire goes up one of the walls and we have hung the actual antenna out the window.
-
Couldn't use it, because the antenna was the one for the car and not the radio, so needless to say we couldn't even try it out
-
I don't even have to unravel antenna
-
I hate their cheap antenna's they give you and notice they sell more expensive ones as well
-
I hung the antennae outside the building and got a weak signal , it still played , spasmodically , frustrating
-
The antenna unit, instead of being built-in, has to be plugged into the top of the box, but the mounting prongs are about 1/16th of an inch high, and consequently the antenna is almost constantly flinging itself away to precious freedom and falling to the floor

Detachable antenna works great4
