My son had been wanting to add satellite radio to his car, and wanted a portable/easily-moveable unit so he could also dock it to his motorcycle when the weather is good for riding

The unit works great but is a bit awkward to mount properly and cleanly

I wanted a receiver in time for a trip I was making, so I just bought the cheapest, smallest unit without much thought.

I would not recommend this unit to a friend.

The bottom line is that this is a nice and inexpensive entry level satellite radio unit that is pretty easy to install, and provides the instant on convenience of your existing car stereo while providing the wide selection of commercial free music channels that you can listen to on long road trips without having to adjust the radio once.

This units performs exactly as advertised for Sirius/XM service in the home, while working with all existing home stereo equipment.

Unit is probably good if you have AUX plug-in capability, but not worth the effort if you have to keep searching for a clear FM channel and then go through the menus to set the Sirius transmit frequency.
