Scullcandy still doesnt seem to feel it necessary to apply more robust materials on critical tension points on ANY of their products and have been using cheap cheap plastics for the cup rotating bands for years

The plastic by the elbow of the ear cups started wearing before finally breaking, and was unfortunately unmanageable

Unlike that cheaper plastic that wipes clean easily these cannot be wiped clean as dirt or stain gets into the rubber especially easily seen on light coloured ones

The only issue I have had is that due to the weather shifting from warm to cold the plastic has cracked on the right earcup

They're a solid purchase at the pricepoint, and sound almost as good as my $300 studio cans

maybe my ear grew (i somehow doubt that at 29 years old)...but after a while, my left ear hurts -- the same kind of hurt as if they were sitting on my ears and not full "over-ear" headphones

Also in terms of sounds bass is perfect, however, the highs and mids aren't as great as with my cheaper headphones like the Skullcandy method headphones
