Bottom line, if you're looking for a pair of cheap headphones for a road trip, these will get the job done better than a 5 dollar pair, but when it comes to longevity, it might be worth dropping an extra 20 bucks if you can, unfortunately I really couldn't at the time, as over long term use it becomes clear that these are still more on the low end than mid range quality.
