Phone gets extremely hot whIle charging wirelessly.

Works great through a bumper case on my 2016 tacoma QI charging pad

Seemed to charge very slow but works if you are just charging overnight.

If you leave the phone on it gives a weak charge and takes a lot longer to charge

When charging would get very hot

You will have more success if you don't have a case and perhaps a more powerful charging pad.

The wireless charging worked flawlessly

My phone will get a little hot if its on there a long time, but for the intermittent charges during my workday it is perfect.

Simply get the standard back cover ($6) and use this module for $11, and BOOM, for under $20 you have wireless charging.

My options right now are either to return it and keep my phone protected with the otterbox or ditch the protection in favor of slow wireless charging.

I got a used Galaxy S5 with a partially damaged charging port - it would work with some cables but not others

I have already disabled the fast wireless charging on my S7.

This little wireless charging receiver module works in my Galaxy s5 with the 7YL7 VUBK-T induction charger.

I've tried this with two different Qi charging pads, in both cases the S5 gets too hot while it's charging.

Thirdly, it charges at roughly 25% of the standard fast-charge rate that you will get from the stock cable or any other good cable

Also, as others have reported the charging is really slow.

It does its job but the charging is very very slow

Now I can replace the battery and the back cover supplies the charging, just like the expensive Samsung Wireless charging cover.

Cable free charging is not worth damaging my phone.

I have a brand new Samsung charging base that works fine

Advertised as a fast charging device, but is not.

I've tried this with 4 different charging stands that work perfectly with my S6.I'm posting this here since I couldn't find were to contact the seller directly

Once it is seated, the charging is slow and doesn't work if you have any kind of case on your phone, such as an Otterbox

Then second night, my charging got interrupted and didn't fully charge my phone, but after reading some reviews on how receiving text messages or emails, notifications can interfere with charging, (not sure if this is really true

Phone does charge through the case, but wireless charging is very slow, and a little finicky

I knew the charging would be slower than a cord and it is, but it has been easy to adjust to that for the ease of wireless and as a work-around to my broken charging port that I have no interest in repairing

4 the charging port on the phone doesn't work like it should so that i can get my fast charge feature and i purchased this receiver so that i could use the charging pad to access my fast charging

Overall though I recommend this to anyone who wants the awesome wireless charging experience.

I most like will take these off and just use the fast charge my phone came with instead.

It was VERY easy to install, and worked instantly with the wireless receiver I purchased as well as in a friend's truck who has a wireless charging station (2016 Tacoma)

so I'm sure its just that this add-on is not as good as if it were built in

However it's one of those products that doesn't work exactly as you want it to.
