The ones I got are very heavy and the tabs are very sturdy.

I label the top tabs only; although you can definitely add info under the cutout area, it will always be covered whenever your papers are in the file (if you're filing 8-1/2 x 11 papers, that is).These definitely add a little personality to your filing system; I like mine!P.S.

I need the strength because they hold lots of papers and The tabs mae it easier to read.

I also appreciate the larger tabs that give me the space to add important, must-see-it-now info.
