Quantitatively I was able to get outputs of 2.5mv and 3.5mv to the left and right channels without any massive imbalance, which is far better than the imbalance between 30mv and 4mv
-
I powered it up and the right channel shorted out.
-
right channel failed already only bass comes out
-
This explained why much, much more sound was coming out of the left channel than the right channel
-
multi-channel amps, integrated amps, home theater receivers, subwoofer amps, and a digital tripath amp,This amp truly impresses
-
works as in passing sound one channel has distortion the other is fine....sux
-
Not a speaker or wiring issue, since I can swap channels and the same behavior is exhibited for either speaker connected to the right channel of the amp, but the left channel of the amp is fine
-

-
The bigger issue is that at low volumes the output between the left and right channels is severely unbalanced
-
The right channel just started cutting in and out
-
Seems that unless I have the volume cranked, the right channel consistently will drop out entirely
-
Well... After a very short 7 months of limited use (mabey 20 hours total of use) the amplifier now does not function except to produce a loud static sound out of the right channel speaker
-
After 2 years of light use (5 hours per week), the right channel is now cutting out constantly
-
but then the right channel
-
That's also the beauty of it though, and probably the reason it sounds better than the H/K. Modern receivers are so damn complicated as far as circuitry goes
-
Still works as of now
