    SMSL SA50 50Wx2 TDA7492 Class D Amplifier + Power Adapter (Black)

    • Delivers clear clean sound quality with a little emphasis on the high frequency.
    • Class-T amplifiers are known throughout the audio community for their good sound quality and the Topping TP22 is no exception
    • The build quality is massively better than the original Sonic-T - a nice metal construction with much better connectors and the power supply (almost the same size as the amp itself!) is actually beefy enough not to hamper the amp's performance.
    • The binding posts are of questionable quality--would definitely recommend using banana connectors instead.
    • Don't feel like you have to pay $500 for a fancy receiver just to get good sound quality
    • The 141s were a well-respected speaker in their day, and probably significantly better quality than most of the speakers I had been looking at
    • Sounds quality is great
    • So I applaud the designers for bringing cheap, small, high quality stereo audio to the public
    • In my listening test, I personally prefer the sound quality of the Topping TP22 as it seems more balanced than the SMSL though I am sure that some people will prefer the SMSL over the Topping especially since it can deliver more power
    • If you aren't looking to power huge speakers, just looking to power some bookshelf speakers with good quality sound
    • Over priced and lacking the quality
    • This amps surprisingly good quality means it is also well suited to use as an amplifier in a more serious living room sound system, or home theater as well
    • I use this with a Casio PX-150 digital piano outputting to small good quality speakers
    • Sound quality seems very good with this, and it's nice to have the extra power relative to some of the cheap Tripath amps out there
    • Low power consumption at idle (rather cool to the touch), and respectable quality driving NHT bookshelf speakers.
    • But if you're searching for the most "accurate" sound quality and don't need the power, the Topping TP20 is probably a better bet.
    • the build quality is nice and a bit better than a few of the others that are comparable.
    • Sound quality was great, but it died after about 6 months.
    • Not as loud as I expected but the sound quality is amazing
    • Replaced my Dayton desktop amp, much better quality, led isnt to bright, separate power switch from volume knob is great.
    • Solid build quality, compact, works with banana plugs.
    • Top quality
    • Sounds great, super small, good quality build
    • the sound quality is also great, except for the popping when either turning the unit itself on or off sometimes, or also leaving it powered on but your source powering on.
    • Sound quality was great, but it died after about 6 months.
    • I pair these with my Pioneer sp-bs22-lr and quality is decent
    • The audio quality is quite good with minimal "hiss."My intended uses:I tested the device first by wiring it to a set of Bose 201-V bookshelf speakers.
    • Not the greatest quality in terms of fit, (the jack going into the back of the unit required a little electrical tape wrapped around the outside to stop the severe "wiggle" + the end that goes into the transformer was extremely tight to the point where I wasn't sure I had a positive connection
    • I can say confidently that is a good quality amplifier
    • This amp has good, clear sound quality as far as I can tell, but it is probably better suited to being an amp for a computer's desktop speakers as its sound is a little quiet, even when cranked up to full
    • Poor quality control, returning ...
    • The build quality is pretty decent and the internal components look like "higher" quality for a moderately priced amp
    • First off, the quality of box is very nice
    • Surprisingly good quality, value and small footprint for the low price
    • Nice amp, clean sound and good build quality, will give it 5 stars if it had 3.5mm stereo input
    • Amazing quality for the price.
    • As noted by other reviewers here, the build quality of the unit seems very good, as well as minimalist
    • The build quality is very good.
    • Good sound quality, questionable quality.
    • The quality of sound and output of this little SMSL gem is amazing, crystal clear, exceptional sound
    • The item in general looks of poor quality.
    • Bad quality, worse support
    • Very good built quality and the sound quality is great
    • Poor quality control, if any! set every thing up to test is out
    • The build quality is exceptional
    • All responses and music from the Echo are driven via the SMSL to bookshelf speakers - much better quality.
    • Good sound quality, questionable quality.
    • Hey, listen this is not audiophile quality, however I can't believe how awesome the sound quality is.
    • Still works as of now
    • works as in passing sound one channel has distortion the other is fine....sux
    • I'll take the word of more experienced users that there may be more accurate Class T/D amps out there in this price
    • Finally an affordable T-AMP that will drive some awesome little Micca bookshelf speakers and make my ears smile the whole time
    • n’t belive the 50 watt spec anyway, so buyer beware!
    • The build quality is massively better than the original Sonic-T - a nice metal construction with much better connectors and the power supply (almost the same size as the amp itself!) is actually beefy enough not to hamper the amp's performance.
    • It's still an interesting digital amp, and has more power (about 30 watts per channel) than many small cheap T amps.
    • Piece of sh!t crapped out just past the 30 day return window.
