Powers my HiFiman HE-300 great, and the dac is really good

Great DAC, sounds amazing

The highest volumes are on the verge of discomfort but are not painful to listen to in my tests (although you will obviously suffer hearing loss if you do listen to anything at high volumes for any length of time).This product is just perfect if you are looking to buy a good AMP/DAC combo for home use under $100 without any compromises

This motivated my search for an affordable external DAC

So I decided to start small, with an inexpensive DAC/amp combo

would have been an excellent dac/'phone amp with the addition of rca input.

Very nice DAC for the money

Best sounding DAC at this price range.

So if you have poor on-board sound this appears to be a decent, easy to setup DAC with a headphone amplifier that can power even higher impedance headphones.

Dac is great, but the amp leaves something to be desired

Second thing that stood out to me was the amount of people that recommended this DAC

This is basically the best dac/amp combo below 100$, I wouldn't even consider anything else unless it's on sale

you wont believe the sound this "bad boy" has a superb "DAC" topped by Smsl sd-793ii uses the classic dir9001+pcm1793+opa2134 classic match, can reach a good/excellent sound believe me this little in-expensive box

This middle range is perfect for the average consumer as most people will have a hard time differentiating between DACs within this range, and its because of this that I recommend this little DAC so very highly.

I wish I had heard about them a lot sooner though because this DAC is amazing

Good entry level DAC/AMP combo for people who don't want to spend too much money on a good DAC and then a separate amp

Definitely one of the best DAC's out there without breaking the wallet.

The DAC is wonderful, the amp takes away lower vocals and so on down the spectrum
