Snark ST-8 Super Tight Clip On Tuner (Current Model)

    • Keeps all 5 of my guitars and bass in perfect tune.
    • price!I keep it clipped on the back of the headstock and can fine tune at any time regardless of background or ambient noise
    • Not tuned...bad.
    • A lot more responsive then a tuning app on your phone.
    • The Hz function works great on guitar and upright bass, and it is still a fine little clip-on tuner even without the Hz fine-tuning capability.
    • Nice size, easy to pack away and the visual display makes tuning simple and fast.
    • Makes tuning quick and easy
    • I recommend this highly to anyone wanting a well-tuned instrument.
    • Tuning is easy peasy, and a well-tuned banjo is the only banjo you should be playing.
    • Only by vibration, no tuning to an out of tune piano
    • Can get a little confused (shows a different note from time to time), but the tuning is pretty solid and the display is bright so it's easy to read.
    • however I would like the fine tuning to be more accurate and specific and the rubber parts easily come off - sometimes they fall off and get lost.
    • Makes tuning easy and proper
    • Accurate tuning at a great price!
    • Perfect tune every time.
    • I mean, isn’t that the best part of the show, when the musicians tune up for 15 minutes
    • Still can't get over how tuning now requires no skill.
    • Normal tuning works or, but I bought this model specifically for the Hz readout
    • Extremely accurate tuning
    • tunes to the best tune of a note that I have ever tuned too.
    • Easy tuning for my new ukelele.
    • It's accurate tuning for sure
    • Clip it on the head and tune using just the notes display then go back to fine tune with the Hertz display
    • and I'll just have to live with waiting for it to turn on/off - at least the main, important function (tuning
    • Since it senses the vibration of the instrument to set the tuning, it functions independently from the noise around you
    • But as far as accuracy, the free tuning app on my phone is actually much better
    • Good for fast tuning and accurate
    • When you need a sleek, precise, and reliable tuning device the SN5X is the way to go
    • does a quick tune of the "G" string (and others if you prefer), I prefer tuning the others to the "G" manually
    • It was a great choice because it quickly gives me an accurate read and tuning for every one of my strings
    • Squeeze the clamp to open it and clamp it on the headstock, press the front button, strike a string and tune to the readout as with any other tuner.
    • Only potential issues on violin is figuring out the best way to clip it to make it easy to see while tuning without having the tuner easy to knock off when resting.
    • It does a better job and does get my guitars in better tune
    • this worked great - tuned 4 guitars including one electric - recommend
    • Works really well, even when you have 9 other loud instruments tuning at the same time.
    • Simple to use, but has a very interesting advanced feature that lets you tune using Hertz-vibrations per second-for a more accurate and tempered tuning.
    • Good item, tunes easy and quick.
    • Great feel, great look and really does a good job tuning
    • Works great, arrived quickly, Nice to have my guitar in perfect tune before playing,
    • Finally, it would be nice if there were more, narrower bars adjacent to the center one, to make it visually easier to fine-tune.
    • I tune by ear and then use the tuner to "fine tune" if needed.
    • and they all have been precisely fine tuned to the perfect pitch and tone.
    • It not only uses a vibration sensor, it has an internal mic too, thus allowing for more accurate tuning
    • My first chord sounded beautiful without any further fine tuning by ear.
    • Great to tune guitar, base and ukulele.
    • Accurate tuning, clear bright display, clamp never wore down, battery lasts quite a long time.
    • The only downside is that tuning the low E string to anything lower than D on a guitar causes the tuner to get a little confused
    • One thing I notice though is, when perfectly tuned, mine has a BLUE BAR that represents the right pitch
    • The sensitivity is just about right and it tuning is accurate so that your not constantly moving the strings up and down to get the appropriate pitch.
    • Works great and is extremely precise when tuning!
    • tunes well.
    • The SN5X is slow to react to a note, making tuning a frustrating experience
    • The screen is easy to read at a glance, and the microphone/vibration switch is very convenient when tuning something you cant directly clip onto
    • Because of this awesome little tuning device, I can actually get my violin tuned again...correctly
    • I was skeptical at first, especially since my main concern was tuning my guitar in a room full of big band instruments, but this tuner is actually really awesome
    • It makes tuning very fast and easy
    • I really like the Frequency fine tuning ability
    • Makes tuning your guitar too easy
    • fast easy tuning.
    • Very easy to attach and use and just makes tuning my 1964 Gibson Dove a breeze.
    • The tuning loses accuracy badly after a few months.
    • (over/under) a perfect low E or A. use the 12th fret harmonics to tune if you're properly intonated and you should be fine
