Update: the product also does not work on computer USB ports.

Not only did this product deliver the goods, but the braided construction feels sturdy (the cord is rather thick if this is of concern to you), and the cords are compatible with "fast charging" on my Samsung smartphone.

USB-C is great

Was looking for a USB C fast charger for my Galaxy S9 plus and this delivered

hell I even attached a USB C to micro USB converter just to see if I could get any power

Not quite as fast as the usb-c to usb-c cable, but that's a restriction of the earlier generations of USB

IE not 10 gbps).My computer has 1 USB 3.1 Type B port and I have a NVMe SSD (2500 MBps write speed, 3500 MBps read), and I tested my USB 3.1 type C portable SSD for throughput
