It does get annoying when you hit the wrong button and tune to a higher hrz

When I put it back in the right mode, tuning was easy

If tuning to a sharp I have to change modes but will work when I change modes.

the clamp is at the limits of the thickness of my guitar's headstock and at times am concerned that the 'fit' doesn't allow a great tuning

Just have to be careful that you have it set for the right tuning.

This tuner works very well and has a fine tuning capability not seen in other tuners.

I also tried tuning it using a piano but even though it sounded as though I was matching the note exactly, when I played the strings in succession it still didn't sound like it was tuned right
