The only way to charge this is via USB defeating the purpose in which I bought this for to go camping or hiking and use in the event of an emergency

It would never charge with the solar charge mode, which deceives the purpose of having a solar backup charger

Item holds a nice charge when it’s charged via usb, but it kinda defeats the purpose of buying a solar charging usb battery.
