You have to win lower level races to progress to higher ones.

All-Stars is a well made, interesting, and fun racing game

In MK it was always too easy for someone in dead last place to come back with a Bullet Bill and win the race and it seemed like MK punished players who race well and stay in front of the pack.

Now knowing how Mario Kart works and the basics of what needs to be done, I WON the first 4 races in this Sonic game
