The SONOS application also possesses an algorithm to balance the sound in the room using your smartphone microphone (I would advise taking your phone out of any protective case before starting the calibration, as it will cause you to perform unnecessary steps in the long run).The sound quality is exceptional for the price, and integrates Home theater and music handily.

What I like about these speaker systems is not only the great quality but the fact that they can be integrated into a room, area or total house sound system and tied to a variety of sources wirelessly.

I've had a single Sonos speaker for a few years now - the sound quality is great and it really can fill the room by itself, but I moved it to my desk recently and it was weird just hearing sound from one side

Unfortunately, it is not particularly easy to stream music to (and actually keep it streaming) and the sound quality is mediocre at best.

Although Sonos advertising their product works with Alexsa, Alexsa does not want to work with Sonos as of today December 2017

In short, if you’re willing to put in the time regularly to get this system working as it’s supposed to, are okay with very few customization options and don’t need to share the system with anyone else in your household, you may be perfectly happy using Sonos

It doens’t support AirPlay and there are no plans to add support for it.

n’t see that it’s improved in any way (and it’s very buggy)
