Love the sound...nice clean design,

Bose Wifi Speakers and they don't even come close to the sleek design and sound of the Play 5 Speakers so don't even waste your money

Beside the cool design (I have the white one), the sound quality is the best compared to all other sonos

We love Sonos as much for the sound quality and thoughtful design of its speakers as for the music aggregation of its software.

The mid range is weak on the Play 5’s and the treble is also muffled some.

The only positive I can say, is that if you are fine accessing music you've downloaded to your device via their software, and you accept the fact the device has a 2-5 year lifespan, the sound is a solid 6 out of 10 and will suffice your needs.
