So cool to be able to wirelessly play really great sounding music on this speaker.

I am not especially technically savvy, but I have been feeling like I needed a better music option and I love the SONOS systems

Although the sound output is greater from the other setup, however the Sonos system offers much more in terms of incredible software, ease of setup for optimum sound in your room, clarity, base response, and wire free music setup

i do think 100 bucks is way too outrageous!I would highly recommend these, but i do think they need to redesign the interface some on the app, especially with respect to the music services it works with.

There is no easier way to add great-sounding music to every room in an older house.

Soon, however, my feelings began to change as I grew accustomed to some of the annoyances of having a WiFi speaker.1.Streamed music is frustrating to setupoptions for playing your music from Deezer or Spotify or Audible are very sub-par... the connection to your speaker is much more tedious and frustrating than the simple marketing messages suggest it will be.2

I am not going to jump any more hoops to get my missing music on the device.

If you love music, and haven't come up a 21st century way of putting into your home, then SONOS is the answer, and even if you've come up with something my guess is that SONOS is far superior due to the engineering of their system

The Play 5 made me appreciate and love music, the way it was meant to be heard

I don't usually use profanity but this is system that will make you swear at just how wonderful the music sounds.

The real benefit is that if you have WiFi, you can stream from a multitude of music options available on the internet, and you can link several of these together for seamless transition from room to room.

If you close & restart, then it has a problem loading selected music or playlist.

If you're serious about good, EASY wireless music, this is what you want.

Indeed, because the high-end response is so creepily real, it reveals the amount of sound processing happening, and I found myself wanting the Play:5 to simply chill out and let the music be great

The mid range is weak on the Play 5’s and the treble is also muffled some.

The only positive I can say, is that if you are fine accessing music you've downloaded to your device via their software, and you accept the fact the device has a 2-5 year lifespan, the sound is a solid 6 out of 10 and will suffice your needs.

It's a shame, b/c just like GoPro, they introduced this unwanted feature when I was about to buy another.
