Sony chose the restrict the codec to 60i or 24p which is not an ideal situation

I previously own a Sony NEX5, but had it stolen

I bought the Sony A5000 to complement my Nikon D5100.

However the Sony A5000 is not good!!

I have loved Sony for 20 years but this camera (and the related models) are terrible

Sony seems to lead the way on mirrorless designs, and this model in particular had some nice features

The Sony A5000 is super compact, with the kit lens, the F stop range, with that lens is ( F3.5 - F35 ) with is a broad range for such a compact

I did buy a Sigma 19 lens as well as a Sony E55-210 telephoto lens to go with this camera & I love the Sigma lens but the lens that came with it also took nice photos and selfies

Trust me/ just avoid all Sony cameras like this one!

The Sony a5000 is good enough for me.

I purchased a Sony a5000 in May 2014 and loved the functionality and quality it put out even with my amateur photo skills.

I recommend the Sony a5100.
