Initially got the a5000 but quickly exchanged it for this model, primarily because of the ridiculously superior autofocus, excellent viewfinder (people with vision problems or who shoot outdoors will need it), available hot shoe, real (not screen based) thumbwheel control and just plain better features

Because of the low price and many nice features, it appears that Sony cut corners by eliminating the chargers.

a6000 was frankly not just its rich feature set, but sheer value.

By-the-way: I had problems getting the panoramic feature to work, so did many people, judging by many posts on the Internet.

The zoom isn't quite as smooth as with my DSLR

A lot of the Pros complain that the focus system is not as good as those found in a DSLR but for me I found it more than good enough.

I had a very capable D3200 and 4 quality lenses.

The shutter speed and auto focusing weren't as good as with the newer firmware.

so if you purchase them as you upgrade all your lenses will work as you upgrade your camera body.
