The pictures it takes are amazing, changing the setting are simple and easy to do and the compact size and lightweight makes it much simpler to move around and take complicated shots where I need one hand free.

Love this camera, small size, easy to access controls and the quality of more expensive models

Spoiler alert - great travel size, fast focus, really fast focus, speedy daytime shooter, BUT bad grainy images in low light, JPEG is terrible and Raw is what you need to shoot all the time for decent images

I will keep my 5R for a while longer, as it has some features that are missing on the a6000, and the smaller size is appealing to me.

Compared to my Nikon, the size is amazing too.

You can use a mount glass with the LAEA adapter from Sony, but this adds significant size and weight and doesn't use the awesome autofocus system of the a6000. PLEASE Sony, make some fast zooms!Otherwise this is probably the best bang for buck camera on the market - mirror less or otherwise.

I had upgraded from a Nikon D80 a few years ago and really appreciated the full sensor size and the much better low light on the Canon

Let me start this review by saying the camera takes superb images and the range and compact size of lenses is acceptable

I am an avid photo enthusiast and bought this because of the APS-C sensor and compact size - ideal for photography when on vacation (as opposed to travel for the purpose of photography, where I take my DSLR)..

The final complain is the size of the signs in the screen are to small to read withot reading glasses which is a problem

Larger than a point and shoot and consideraby more compact than a full size SLR, this camera, in my opinion, clearly outperforms its size and price tag.

It's lightweight and the perfect size for travel

I am bummed out because now I have no camera for my upcoming trip and there is nothing else out there that I like as much as I liked this Sony a6000

There are a lot of naysayers on the web who say that Sony doesn't have a good lens selection, but the E mount lenses available for this meet my needs.

This is one of my two favorite E-mount lenses.

The fastest e mount or fe mount constant aperture zoom available from any manufacturer is currently f4.0.

For now I rely on the fast and clear E-mount Sigma 30mm prime that works perfectly w/ the camera.
