Was looking at Cannons and Nikon and the new Panasonic G7 that records in 4K but ultimately decided on this camera for its 179 focal points, fast auto focus and 11fps

I've used Canons and Nikons before, nothing compares with speed, auto focus, ease of use, and most of all the weight.

I just use Intelligent Auto and the image quality indoors and outdoors is the best I have seen

Can't even figure out what this Superior Auto aka Intelligent Auto Plus does

If you don't know anything about photography just set it to Intelligent Auto and it will still take fantastic pictures

This is a lot better camera, but the concepts and terminology are similar, I can see where they improved and built on what I'm used to - but it wouldn't be hard for a beginner either, just put it on 'intelligent auto,' start shooting, and progress at your own pace.

A lot of the Pros complain that the focus system is not as good as those found in a DSLR but for me I found it more than good enough.

I had a very capable D3200 and 4 quality lenses.

The zoom isn't quite as smooth as with my DSLR

The camera is rated as best in class for a wide variety of functions and 'as good as' on most others...up against darn near anything

The shutter speed and auto focusing weren't as good as with the newer firmware.

so if you purchase them as you upgrade all your lenses will work as you upgrade your camera body.

The a6000 destroys the 5T in autofocus, it is far far faster and more accurate.

Upgraded from Sony Nex 5T, so I could make use of 18-55 and 55-210 lenses.
