The features are wonderful and it delivers great quality photos in raw

Manual shooting mode with auto ISO is an awesome feature to maximize picture quality with best ISO.

I sometimes also capture for after the fact stitching, but the panoramic setting works OK - not always successfully - the feature is fussy and fails on occasion (like when there is a waterfall in the scene)

a6000 was frankly not just its rich feature set, but sheer value.

It’s got some great features such as the WiFi built in, which is my favorite for sharing

Initially got the a5000 but quickly exchanged it for this model, primarily because of the ridiculously superior autofocus, excellent viewfinder (people with vision problems or who shoot outdoors will need it), available hot shoe, real (not screen based) thumbwheel control and just plain better features

The ability to instantly upload to the iphone and view them is one of my favorite features.

It has some nifty features like uploading directly to Facebook, Flickr, and PlayMemories Online, and wirelessly transferring photos directly to your phone or computer using the PlayMemories app, which can be initiated on your NFC enabled phone by just touching it to the side of the camera

A lot of the Pros complain that the focus system is not as good as those found in a DSLR but for me I found it more than good enough.

I had a very capable D3200 and 4 quality lenses.

The zoom isn't quite as smooth as with my DSLR

The camera is rated as best in class for a wide variety of functions and 'as good as' on most others...up against darn near anything

The shutter speed and auto focusing weren't as good as with the newer firmware.

so if you purchase them as you upgrade all your lenses will work as you upgrade your camera body.
