Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50 mm Lens, 24 MP (White) and Camera Strap with Quick Release System

    • The features are wonderful and it delivers great quality photos in raw
    • You can also use old manual lenses from Minolta, Olympus, Nikon e.t.c. with the fairly inexpensive adapters available so you can have some excellent quality manual lenses for a fraction of the price
    • Excellent quality photos, sharp, bright and good contrast
    • Right out of the box, all you need to do is charge the battery, insert an SD card and you can begin shooting incredible images in full automatic mode that compare or surpass the quality of APS DSLR cameras like the Nikon D3200, the Alpha 57 or Canon T3i
    • It's really easy to use and great quality photos.
    • If you want one of the best quality mirrorless cameras, and image quality is your priority, this is it.
    • Great image quality, reasonably easy menus, if you're patient, and *very* easy to handle.
    • Awesome image quality and price
    • It is certainly not a replacement for a DSLR (yet) and it never will be unless Sony steps up and makes some high-quality, affordable lenses that don't cost 2-3 times the camera itself.(Edited for price accuracy and clarity.)
    • Decent low light picture quality in European cities at night scene.
    • Just incredible image quality for the price.
    • Great quality pictures, yet it hardly has any zoom
    • Well built, great quality images at a bargain price
    • I recommend it constantly because it's easy, light and the quality is unbelievable.
    • I love this camera, its compact, has ultra fast autofocus and amazing superb picture quality
    • The Sony a6000 was cheaper, had superior image quality, superior performance and produces 24 megapixel images
    • The combination of HDR adjustments along with with a better quality codec for video, multiple white balance profiles (11 I believe?), and the ability to use older lens with dummy adapters ($20) make it one powerful camera for its price
    • Pretty good quality and nice looking
    • : It was a nice surprise to see the a6000 looks and feels like a solid, high quality camera considering it's relatively compact size
    • Pros:-Takes Picture very fast-Best quality of any

    • Beautiful photo quality, intuitive controls, versatility, and all around an awesome camera.
    • I primarily bought the a6000 for it's very small size and great image quality for quick short trips
    • zoom of incredible quality
    • perfect size, great quality, fast autodidacts, good in low light, etc
    • If you purchase the camera new you're in good shape, but don't expect the best quality when you buy refurbished

    • If you want better quality than your phone is capable of, this is a camera that is light enough and small enough to come with you wherever you go.
    • I had purchased this because I didn't want the size of a dSLR but wanted better quality images than a travel zoom.
    • Perfectly sized with incredible image quality

    • , when I travel I NEVER carry my BIG backpack w/ DSLR Canon gear nowVery good image quality, very good noise level at ISO 800 (this is as high as i go
    • Lightweight and not bulky at all, and the the quality of the pictures is amazing
    • Get a quality strap like BlackRapid though because the included strap is not very comfortable.
    • quality(using the 18-105 f4 G OSS lens), even in handheld lowlight panorama shot jpegs are quite stunning.- Build quality is top notch, doesn't feel cheap at all- Amount of manual control allowed.- control layout is intuitive.- the customizable screen information is ridiculously good!- the Sony app is pretty cool along with the nfc for transferring images to your phone/tablet.-11 frames per second

    • Photos come out so clear and the quality is just amazing!!!!
    • Overall, the quality of pics with the zeiss 16-70 lens attached is stunning.

    • Why lug around a bulky DSLR when you can have the same quality (if not better) in such a small package
    • The quality of my Nikon D610 is excellent but it is a hassle to take with me overseas
    • Can't beat that when you're holding your camera for hours on end!(Most of the Pictures taken below were with the 55-210 lens)FYI: These pictures are for the sole purpose of showing how good the quality of pictures are with this camera.

    • I'm in love with this camera, it's compact and have good quality images
    • Would definitely recommend to someone looking to get a good quality camera for stills and video!
    • Great camera quality!!!
    • The camera has a lot of admirable qualities but durability is not one of them
    • Which means that the camera will follow what you tell him to do for sure, the only problem is you can not tell him fast enough!!Photo quality is great, can easily catch each of my daughter's hair and floating dust, the 18-50mm lens is good, I bought a 50mm F1.8, which is 5 stars too, with this F1.8 and the high iso, this camera can see more than my eye in dark, or with 1/20000 s speed, it can catch any move
    • takes amazing high quality photos and videos!
    • The pictures and video have amazing quality for the purpose of a family camera

    • I wanted something small, super high quality, quick to shoot and focus, but also with the option to expand and have full manual control for night and long-exposure shots.on top of that I wanted something that wouldn't leave my wallet walking funny for awhile
    • It’s got a good size to it, plenty of controls and easy to navigate menus that allow you to grow into the camera, a viewfinder that’s unassumingly tucked away into the body (rather than atop it), a great AF system, and excellent image quality
    • I love the photo quality
    • )--Kit lens doesn't seem to be as good a quality as the 55-210mm
    • It has very good image quality and the high ISO noise is very close to what I get from my Canon and it has close to the same resolution in the APS-C sensor
    • Great little camera with amazing image quality
    • excellent image quality on both photos and video.
    • The kit lenses are surprisingly great quality and give me nice crisp clean photos

    • After that, man, quality is outstanding with RAW format photos, as well as video
    • I had been looking at the Sony NEX 7 whose 'Build Quality' was praised as 'superb' by DPReview, but the fit and finish of my Silver A6000 is very nice, it exceeds my expectations
    • but I bought it for the high quality sensor it has which is an APS-C format and is far better quality than in most compact digital cameras!
    • The quality is stunning and the colors are gorgeous
    • Affordable, loaded with features, great image quality.
    • Love this camera, light and great quality photos!

    • Amazing picture quality
    • If you are getting started with photography and want a flexible, light-weight, and good quality system, you might like the a6000
    • did not like it , the quality wasn't all
    • It's obviously not as fast on the viewfinder as my full-frame SLR, but when I don't feel like carrying around a SLR and still want a very good quality image, this does the job almost perfectly.
    • Great quality and soo many options for the basic camera operator.
    • You will especially love this camera if you don't want to carry a big heavy SLR around but still want excellent quality pictures
    • I download to the computer often, so don't need a huge card - a 16 Gb card will hold about 900 pics at largest size (24M) / RAW+JPEG, about 8,900 at 6M (3000 x 2000) 'fine' quality JPEG, and over 10,000 at 'standard' quality.
    • If you are looking for really nice quality at a price point that may be less cringe-inducing than a lot of DSLR’s, this is certainly one you’ll want to consider
    • VERY NICE QUALITY PICTURES!
    • The kit lenses aren't the best quality though, so you will want to spend some $$$ to buy higher end glass.
    • The photos are great quality, and are perfect for starting my new Etsy store and for sharing photos on Instagram.
    • I would recommend buying just the base and then a lens that would fit your needs because I never use the kit lens because it is bad quality
    • There are so many features to really fine tune things, but if you're a novice like me just set it to "A" point and shoot to get stunning pro quality pictures
    • Wonderful quality of pictures and fairly simple to use.
    • Wow... don't even know what to say about this... great value, great photos, professional quality, user friendly.
    • It also has really good low noise image quality.
    • Excellent quality.
    • Otherwise quality and reliability has been fine
    • The body feels more sturdy and higher quality built
    • Most important: poor image quality
    • I'd give this camera 5 stars but having these dots in my pictures is really disappointing, for $700 i was expecting better quality control.
    • To conclude, in the near future, I'll likely be moving away from Sony and toward a mirrorless camera offering 24 megapixel and APS-C sensors but more than likely, I'll return to the super quality, ease of operation and ease of compatibility of my
    • Meanwhile I really appreciate the quality of the M3 images and will just have to make do with a bit larger carrying case!
    • the Sony a6000 provides very nice image/video quality, versatility, user friendly physical layout and a customizable system for whatever your needs may be
    • The quality of the photos is superb
    • I suggest the Nikon AW1 (more expensive and less image quality, but water/shock/freeze proof), if you take your camera in less harsh environments but still feel the in camera processing is important or would like a camera which handle the

    • I work for a video production company that has many expensive and high class cameras, and mine is the best quality
    • My original SELP1650 that came with my NEX3 was a good walkabout lens with reasonably good image quality and was amazingly compact (for what it is) when powered down and retracted
    • The build quality of the camera is really nice, it looks and feels great
    • Takes wonderful quality photos.
    • Sound quality is rich and crisp with no undue AGC pumping action
    • I find the a6000 far easier to use, very capable and high quality as a video camera, and super high quality as a still camera
    • THIS CAMERA.It has an awesome wide angle stock lens and shoot great high quality video
    • I got it as travel camera as I wanted something that was small with lots of control and great image quality
    • ).To advanced amateurs, "prosumers", or those looking for a second body, know that although it is still a good camera with excellent image quality, there are newer cameras with more features and capabilities that will likely matter to you, such as better color science, a deeper buffer, more options/settings, IBIS, continuous eye AF (vs single shot), better menus, etc
    • Lens selection is not as great as Canon or Nikon, but it is picking up and they are getting more great quality lenses all the time.
    • Overall, incredible image quality that is comparable and even better than that of the T4iBattery Life: 7/10- This is the Achilles' heel of the camera as the battery drains frighteningly
    • The interface is a little funky, but the quality of the pictures in a small compact camera is EXCELLENT!!
    • Image quality is greater than expected thanks to the 24 million pixels Sony puts on the APS-C size sensor, so that you can get great image quality even at high ISO (>3200).As for the fast auto
    • The fps are very fast and the quality of the photos is amazing
    • This camera takes amazing pictures, very sharp and professional quality images
    • Most important: poor image quality
    • Camera performed as expectedBattery life not as good as DSLR picture quality similar with high quality glass
    • Great video and great image quality
    • For an APS-C sensor with great image quality, you can get this camera for a steal
    • I had been wanting a decent quality camera for a long time for a slew of reasons
    • My reference equipment is a Canon 5D Mk ii and L lenses, so I am used to good quality pictures, but I was pretty disappointed with the a6000 until I started using the 50 1.8
    • The quality was excellent and the price smile worthy.
    • It’s a point of preference, but I personally didn’t love the quality or clarity of the image
    • The cost is great, the quality is great and the ease if use is amazing!Highly recommended to anybody looking to get in to photography at a good starting price!
    • The body itself didn't take any damage and it was about a 5 foot drop from a tripod so the build quality of the body is solid
    • That said, the quality is good, but I was disappointed in these things.
    • It takes fantastic quality images, the burst mode is really really fast (faster than the 7D) and is a joy to use
    • , it took me a while to master most of the functionality and still a lot to know.the focus is fast and it took impressive video clips with no noticeable out of focus at all.i love the in camera HDR results, and it quite fast indeed.picture quality is very
    • The quality this camera can achieve really made me happy with my purchase
    • Finding the right lenses was harder, but after trying just about everything suggested and reviewed I ended up keeping the Sigma 1.4 30mm, the Sigma 2.8 60mm, and the sony 2.8 90mm macro (huge lens, but awesome picture quality)
    • compact, great image quality, very flexible
    • Then if you need more a clean Q' tip can be used with Windex.
    • A lot of the Pros complain that the focus system is not as good as those found in a DSLR but for me I found it more than good enough.
    • and I could not afford a better body such as
    • very nice features - 11 frames per second, in camera HDR, lightweight and compact, facial recognition, awesome low light capabilities, very easy to use with no getting frustrated as i toggle between ISO, F-stops, and shutter speed
    • I had a very capable D3200 and 4 quality lenses.
    • The zoom isn't quite as smooth as with my DSLR
    • The camera is rated as best in class for a wide variety of functions and 'as good as' on most others...up against darn near anything
    • The shutter speed and auto focusing weren't as good as with the newer firmware.
    • so if you purchase them as you upgrade all your lenses will work as you upgrade your camera body.
    • To make matters worse, I purchased an Arca-Swiss-compatible L bracket.
    • , L lenses even more so, so as much as I love to use it when I go out with sole intention of taking pictures, those are not really handy to carry around for anything else
    • you can get extremely high quality photos for the cost of the cheapest L pro zoom lens (70-200 f4)
    • I own only L lenses as well as the well renowned Sigma 35 f1.4
    • I am bummed out because now I have no camera for my upcoming trip and there is nothing else out there that I like as much as I liked this Sony a6000
    • n’t lack much
    • The a6000 destroys the 5T in autofocus, it is far far faster and more accurate.
    • Upgraded from Sony Nex 5T, so I could make use of 18-55 and 55-210 lenses.
