The a6000 is a more capable picture taker, though, and has become my go-to camera

This camera is fast and takes great pictures.

The sensor is not as good for dynamic range as the Canon 5d so getting full dynamic pictures requires a bit more effort

Finding the right lenses was harder, but after trying just about everything suggested and reviewed I ended up keeping the Sigma 1.4 30mm, the Sigma 2.8 60mm, and the sony 2.8 90mm macro (huge lens, but awesome picture quality)

I took this on my trip to Europe and it took amazing pictures and was super nice and compact

I purchased the camera to take some amazing pictures in Iceland.

There are different modes to use depending on what kind of scenes you want to use, I'm still learning how to use this properly, and for our Mexico trip, we mainly used intelligent auto /scene - landscape for any landscape scenes, and scene - portrait for any portrait, and scene - sports mode if I want to take pictures of sea guls or my boyfriend swimming, and at night I use scene - night portrait /hand-held twilight, it takes great pictures are dim-light restaurants

The pictures I have taken with this camera are incredibly sharp and pretty much rival the pictures my friend takes with her expensive digital SLR

Honestly, why buy a huge DSLR when this camera takes pictures just as good and is something small enough you will actually carry with you.

It's a rewarding feeling having a piece of equipment advanced enough to let me develop my skills, while still being able to produce some great pictures when I'm feeling lazy and just want to shoot away

The good stuff: Lovely pictures, pretty accurate colours even with kit lens, very fast focus, the 11-shots per second speed is remarkable with no apparent lag, Bokeh with either the kit lens or the 18-135mm lens is surprisingly good, (and yes, there are settings to controol that to some extent apparently), built in flash is adequate, except for the Movie mode dial, the remainder of the controls are well positioned and relatively easy to activate

The result has been great, although some very noisy pictures have resulted for letting the camera choose ISO Auto.

The a6000 destroys the 5T in autofocus, it is far far faster and more accurate.

Upgraded from Sony Nex 5T, so I could make use of 18-55 and 55-210 lenses.

This is one of my two favorite E-mount lenses.

The fastest e mount or fe mount constant aperture zoom available from any manufacturer is currently f4.0.

There are a lot of naysayers on the web who say that Sony doesn't have a good lens selection, but the E mount lenses available for this meet my needs.

For now I rely on the fast and clear E-mount Sigma 30mm prime that works perfectly w/ the camera.
