Honestly, this cam is not good for regular shoot in low light at night

I still like this cam and its a nice little compact unit with some great features...but the on and off support for updates and the fact that the new az300 cams are light years ahead of this lend me to recommend you in that direction.

The video just looks like when the cam is reading the whole sensor worth of information it is throwing out some lines or pixes while it compresses things down to 1080p

...there are even steady cams available for under a hundred...there was a really bad review about the wrist LCD controller, "live view remote" in the reviews on the Last model of this camera... for an extra $

You can also copy videos from camera to PC manually from the camera's file system (like an external drive) as well as through native import or apps currently available through Windows 8 or OS X.

You must have a micro card for the camera to work as there is no on board storage

Capture, however, is not as good as with my GoPro 3+ (even with xavcx codec)
