Nice unit, works well with my Sony HD TV

the picture it puts out makes my smart TV look even smarter

Why would anyone spend thousands on a smart TV when you can buy one of these and have all the fun?

I already have smart TV.

This seems to be offered by about every such connected BlueRay player and Smart TV, so Roku really needs to find a way to offer this again because it is a major omission

I did not need the wi-fi feature on this one as my tv has that capability already

I always wanted a smart TV but there really is no point with this DVD

Now I only have Internet, and I can still watch the few favorite TV shows that I like via Hulu Plus

I did not test the Smart TV features, since I already had these features in my LG TV.

I've tried swapping different cables, different HDMI ports on the TV, and verifying with a different device that the TV and cables are working normally.

i'm sure i'll what a smart tv in the future, but all i'm using this for is Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Pandora.

For example, you have the "Sony Entertainment Network (SEN)" content as well as Opera TV Apps.

This Blu-ray player does have Smart-TV capabilities, but it needs to be directly connected to a LAN connection to use these features, because it is not wireless.
