What a joy to hear music again in my living room.

I have been enjoying my music without any problems.

Plugged it in, loaded it up, used it over the Christmas holidays a lot as the wife loves her Holiday music,and worked flawlessly

i find th sound acceptable, but I am one of those persons who knows that digital music does not sound as good as analog music and i can hear the difference, so I did not expect much from a player where all the playback was digital

What's more, the CE-500 allows for the dubbing of CDs to a front-loading USB slot meaning that you can transfer your favorite music to a thumb drive.

All in all, great player at any price, easy to use, and fills my home with beautiful music

I enjoy music and this unit allows me to play hours of my kind of music

Very nice five disc changer that works with Sony's receiver and speakers for a nice music system.

but .mp3 data disks have a large directory that must be found and read into memory before the music is available to play.

Admittedly I am not a sound geek, I just want my house to be filled with beautiful music and that's what I now have.

Other than that, it works well and music sounds great.

Many features to use that make for a great music selection

We started with a self recorded CD to make sure it worked as we like to make compilations of our favorite music to match different moods

Pros: Serves its purpose, plays MP3 as well as audio discs, disc change capability without interrupting music being played, USB port on front panel for connecting MP3 devices

It is nice to load up 5 discs and sit back and enjoy the Music

The electronic whirrings between CDs are a bit jarring when listening to quiet music

ive also use the usb to play music off a zip drive and worked fine

because of the USB connection on the front panel you can plug in a flash player with tons of gigs and just listen to your great music for hours!Sony is no baloney

Now I can once again listen to clear music instead of static on the FM radio station.

Does what it is supposed to do; easy to plug in and music sounds great.

For the few people "out there" who also do not know about good music systems:

I lead music onto a flash drive and use the USB port for playback as there is no difference in sound quality and it is easier on the moving parts of the disc changer as it is less wear and tear on moving parts
