With the remote broken and the player's inability to recognize MP3 files, I retired it -- but only after seeing that Sony made a similar unit.

The one negative I had read about the player itself was that it wasn't quiet enough when changing disks, but the noise is insignificant

It sounds as good as my high-end NAD player and flawlessly plays through CDs that used to skip on my Sony ES series 5 disc player.

I liked the ease of ordering this disc player as well as how easy it was to install into my present system.
