I wanted a powerful portable stereo that plays mp3's, and this fits the bill to a T. Plenty of volume, good solid (adjustable) bass, and plays mp3's without a hiccup!

May be discontinued but this box really kicks - on max bass eats up the batteries, but I use rechargeable batteries so that's not much of an issue - radio pulls in the stations nice and clear - max bass really thumps with no distortion .....

The sound is clear and full, the bass is rich, and each of the functions (radio, CD player, cassette player, etc.) work quite well, with no complaints.

I was not disappointed as this boom box really jams and has great adjustable bass

Antenna adjustment allows for clearer radio signals, while controls for both cd and cassette were easy to use both on the unit as well as on the remote

And by the way, much like ugly pets and children, this radio's looks improves as it becomes more endearing to you.
