The one thing this can't do is play loud enough for the skier or wake boarder to hear, but for the price it's hard to fault the radio

Will not use cassette, but radio and cd/mp3 are very good.

and I don't believe that it would be practical to lug around as a portable radio, but that is my opinion

My college age son really enjoys this boombox, however his campus is a distance from significant radio stations, so the reception is a bit tricky

the radio came in loud and clear it worked for days on batteries...was so worth it..and you cannot beat the price...

May be discontinued but this box really kicks - on max bass eats up the batteries, but I use rechargeable batteries so that's not much of an issue - radio pulls in the stations nice and clear - max bass really thumps with no distortion .....

worked perfectly I absolutely loved my work radio until a part-time helper poured water down the back of it and ruined it.

I listen mostly to Classic Rock, and did not really need a ton of Bass, but this radio sounds great at all volume levels

It has excellent radio reception (I live way out in the sticks) and the sound is very clean and crisp even at high volumn.

It's an inexpensive portable radio/CD and it sounds just fine at low to medium volume levels

The fact that you can play all audio media from the last 25 years (except miniDisc, but we all knew that was a fad) and the AUX input makes this the only portable radio you'll ever need

i ordered 2 days agoand have it already.my review isn't as detailed as the other reviews but they are on the money!i would recommend this radio for anyone that wants a awsome soundingboombox that can handle the bass and give it a thumbs up!!!

It's easy reading and only needed to learn how to program favorite radio channels; plus to find out what the little, hard to see icons mean on the display

I use the radio mostly while I work on my truck or motorcycle,I'm in the hills above Ventura,Ca.reception is ok,not great,but their again where I'm at effects reception

So I got a nice 20 watt radio, cassette, cd, mp3 player that, albeit large, I can tote around from place to place
