When my 19 yr old GE clock radio broke I thought this would be a great replacement

However, the radio doesn't support battery backup (an important omission), though its internal battery will keep the settings and set off the alarm if not too much time has transpired

I love this radio

It allows you to have a radio alarm, a cd alarm, and a buzzer alarm or any combination of the three.

Time after time I almost knocked this radio off the night stand trying to adjust the volume

The radio is not as good as the Sony clock radio I bought 4 years earlier

Best clock radio I have ever had!

If the power goes out, it won't wake you up and you have to reset not only the clock, but all three alarm times and all twenty-five preset radio and TV stations (assuming you've programmed a station for all of them).

Beside that, it is a nice radio clock to have with great function and sound quality.

We had been having problems with our old reliable clock radio and its inexpensive replacements.

It also receives the radio stations I love, and plays CD's to my satisfaction

The CD alarm feature has worked every morning, there's a backup radio alarm available, and the digital tuning is very welcome (my cat used to step on and move the manual tuner on the old radio, shifting the stations and sometimes causing static in the morning)

Apart from those two issues, it is one of the best such radios I have seen

For me this item is a HUGE improvement over what I had -- a 20+ years old Windsor AM-FM- LED clock radio.

We listen mostly AM Talk Radio - great reception - same performance as three portable radios (ICF-M410V) we've used for years

If you don't mind having each alarm set to a different wake up sound, you might like this radio.

Maybe it'll be in the next itineration of this product (hint...hint)Although this unit is inexpensive, has GREAT sound, is somewhat easy to use, There are certain things you come to expect in a product like this as well as from this company, They've been in the game too long to make the mis-steps like they did with this one
