It has an "Easy Mode" which is great for good casual shots, but I think that it's a little TO simple

My daughter has been enjoying the video mode also.

Most of the features for this camera lies in it's Intelligent Auto mode which really just didn't thrill me

the video focus is not stable, the panoramic mode has some weird color tones, the optical zoom is mostly of focus, the camera is slippery-plastic made, the photos seems super clean on the camera than on computer it need a +1 exposition of some shots.

I like the easy mode!!

You can use it in easy "auto" mode or adjust ISO levels and color balance.

It takes great pictures, is incredibly easy to use, and I really like the panoramic picture mode that let's me take a picture of the whole room in just one shot.

Also, there is an easy mode that you can put it on that makes the wording larger and makes the camera even more simple.

The "steady" mode uses electronic tricks to reduce blur from your hand moving.

the light weight, the small size, the wide lens, how close I can get to the subject, the macro, the flash, the intelligent auto mode is more great than not

It does have some options outside of Intelligent Auto mode, but it doesn't include Sports or Macro as a separate option

Slap this thing in "easy" mode and it's literally idiot proof

If you need a replacement or an extra you need to buy a USB-UC E6 cable.-Easy menu mode: Practicality should be the main focus in a snapshot device

EASY mode make flipping it up and shooting with no mistakes, but you can use the setting yourself for exactly what you prefer.. manually if that's your bag....compares very well with Nixon cool pix at 1/3 the price..

If your an amateur hoping to be carried by Easy Mode I would look elsewhere.

But, seems to take good pictures in the Easy Mode.
