Sony DSCW830 20.1 MP Digital Camera with 2.7-Inch LCD (Silver)

    • If you have a smart phone that takes good pictures (and most do nowadays), this camera is a useless bauble
    • For that, a smart phone fits the bill
    • To sum up: not the best of its kind, and its kind has been turfed out by smart phone technology
    • The pics are pretty good, but not as good as your phone pics.
    • I do have a smart phone that takes good pictures, but I don't always want to use the phone for multiple shots at family style events.
    • Overall it fits neatly in a pocket and unless you rely solely upon you smart phone this is a well priced option for quality pictures in general.
    • This model is very small and almost as thin as my smart phone
    • This camera was just as good as any smart phone.
    • A higher-priced smart phone would probably take better pics, but I like Sony and their products, so I'll probably stick with this.
    • The video quality is more than sufficient and seems just as good, if not better than most smart phones
    • Nowadays smart phone cameras are so good, I question the need to spend $140 on a little pocket camera like this
    • I like using a digital camera for events or places where i dont like to take my phone out, but i guess ill still be taking my pictures on my crappy little samsung phone
    • In practice, the definition of the camera image is so poor that a good phone with digital zoom beats it.
    • my phone is better
    • But . . . the reality is that there is little point now in a low cost camera if you have a decent phone
    • Everyone should have one of these if they don't have a smart phone camera.
    • So, if you have a nice smart phone, this camera won't offer much additional.
    • I have a dslr, but wanted something smaller and comparable to a smart phone when it comes to quality and portability
