I know lots of people use their phone for pictures, but for me, you just can't beat a good Sony Camera!

I have had several Sony cameras like this.

Affordable Sony camera but picture quality is sub-par with other models out there.

There is a manual on the Internet, but Sony has produced so many varieties of Cybershot cameras that it's not always simple to figure out what model they're talking about

This one replaces an earlier Sony digital that I somehow crushed in a suitcase on a recent trip.

I love this camera brand SONY, very good photos and the excellent Zoom!

Looking at some of the other reviews, I might add that I don't like the date and time on the face of my pictures, with this camera you don't get date and time on the picture, thank you Sony.

A higher-priced smart phone would probably take better pics, but I like Sony and their products, so I'll probably stick with this.

After researching and reading the reviews, I thought Sony DSCW830 would be good

I have never purchased an inadequate "Sony" product.

only ( 720p MP4 at 30 fps) not FULL HD (1080 60i) movie mode, the sony w830is nice for movies on PC but is not good to see movies in a FULL HD TV set

So, I needed portable Sony with Zeiss lens

I own more expensive equipment, but use this convenient Sony most of the time.

The Sony is actually easier to use, faster processing time and good quality photos for when a cell phone is not an option.
