I don't have to worry about it, it is small, and it still makes excellent images.

At first the pic's look perfect from the camera monitor but when you transfer the pictures to your PC or develop the pictures the color looks dull and the image is grainy

But with enough light on the subject it takes excellent images

The downside for me with the W-830 are not the images but a couple of other areas to do with the camera and Sony

I have seen great image quality from Sony cameras before, and so expected the same from this camera

If you are in the inspection business and need an amazing quality image on the quick, this is it

Will not win a photography award because of it, but it small enough you can keep it in your pocket and capture a good image (your cell phone does not have as good a zoom or optics as this camera).

Extremely clear images

Takes great pictures with very sharp images.

I wouldn't think twice, but it's when I have the images on my computer, I notice the images are actually blurred

Panoramic images looked great with the image zoomed out to fill the screen on my laptop, but when you zoom in you can tell the quality isn't quite there

I have an older model of this camera which is much better and creates sharper more accurate images, albeit less pixels

With just the default settings, I took pictures in the semi-dark and it produced clear images

ALL images had this dust on them - and they are NOT easy to remove in post processing

okay, it's only when you start zooming into the photos you'll notice the slight noise that comes with the photo, other times the noise can be apparent straight away, along with the photo not being as sharp as it could

Resolution is more than needed, so no problem with that, but the lens was not as crisp and sharp as I had hoped for.

My enlargements from my DSC830 are just as clear as professional as if they come from my larger cameras

That worked well as we needed it
