I think for the price, it's actually a good deal if you learn to ignore the noisy focus motor the "bouncy focus"

Little bit of noise when focusing but not a big deal if your not worried about it

This is a good deal for a hobbyist photographer who doesn't need pro-grade glass.

Still, a good deal for the money ($199)

in my opinion worth dealing with from time to time to make beautiful pictures on a budget.

All in all, $200 is a great deal for a lens like this, if you think of it as a starter lens before a larger purchase.

But it's no where near as slow as it was after updating my camera software!

Not as sharp as i would hope but you can correct that in post
