But. despite the excellent image I still throw this little lens on the camera sometimes for around the house and sometimes as a walk around though due to it's size and convenience, although I would love to check out the 55 1.8 for that purpose eventually
-
Nothing gets me more excited about photography than to snap a picture and immediately review it, zoom it in 100% and see a sharp, clear image
-
The len produce sharp image at this price and near quality of 55mm f1.8 len
-
For the price, it's got great image quality
-
Decent image quality; autofocus is slow and the motor is really noisy
-
Good image quality in daylight and low light.
-
It's just that getting that stellar image is sometimes difficult with this lens.
-
but I like having this setting on to see what the image will look like in real time
-
The image is great as well
-
Cheap, good image quality, lots of controlCons: slow, loud.
-
Makes a lot of noise when focusing but the images are nice.
-
if you don't care about this lens getting beat upCons- cheap build- images are not sharp- extremely slow and loud Auto focusing (compared to the Sony Zeiss, G, and Gmaster series)
-
The images were nice but zoomed in at 100% they weren’t $2300 nice
-
In terms of picture quality, it does actually take pretty stellar images.
-
It produces a good sharp image and smooth bokeh
-
It's just that getting that stellar image is sometimes difficult with this lens.
-
It's a 50mm lens, it produces beautiful images on the A7, and most importantly, it doesn't cost half the price of the A7
-
This is an affordable lens that provides very nice images
-
" Canon 50mm 1.8, would offer exceptional image quality on a budget.
-
If you stop down a couple stops, it's perfectly capable of capturing sharp images
-
If you stop down a couple stops, it's perfectly capable of capturing sharp images
-
The image is not sharp at f1.8 and chromatic aberration is obvious
-
Great clean image and nice bokeh.
-
The lens barrel extends when focusing, which is slower than in lenses with external focusing, but this design provides better image quality without additional optical complexities
-
Expect good clean images at around f3.5-4 and if you are using full frame you get pretty good bokeh
-
I’ve never seen images this sharp
-
This lens on a Sony A7 camera produced excellent images.
-
But it's no where near as slow as it was after updating my camera software!
-
Not as sharp as i would hope but you can correct that in post
-
(not the G just the basic) are fantastic as well
