The AF works great and the images that I am seeing out of it are wonderful

and at 200mm, the images are very sharp and only seem to lose a slight bit at the extreme edges of the frame

On an A7r II, it delivers very sharp, smooth images.

When the image is more important than the price, buy this.

My ancient 100-400mm G A-mount outperformed this "GM" lens with no effort.
