Prior to purchasing this camera, I have been using a Gopro white edition, which is a pretty good camera for some informal cycling videos, but I really needed something with better image quality.

I really like the wrist remote setup, and the videos so far have been great - excellent resolution, good image stabilization.

WHY would they ship it with an underwater case that cannot shoot in focus?Sony expects the customer to find out that the camera produces unacceptable picture quality when used underwater, not be upset by getting duped, and then PURCHASE a door or new non defective case that does not produce blurry images

The housing provided with the kit (spk-as2) as the one I bought extra (spk-as1) cannot record underwater (ONLY blurry images, because of the door design)

Sony makes an awesome Image processor on their cameras.

I love knowing what the image looks like while it's recording and being able to start and stop recording at will.

Considering it's excellent low light imaging, the absence of a helpful, backlit display for low light operation strikes me as odd.
