I only wish the alarm in beep mode had more POWER!!!

Unfortunately this clock radio does not have a backup battery so if you lose power, you lose your alarm.

Even the most inexpensive of alarm clocks/clock radios have battery back up and ESPECIALLY with a dual alarm clock (and an aging electrical "grid" where you can lose power momentarily on a regular basis) it makes no sense NOT to have battery back up.

so if you lose power, you lose the time

The only possible complaint is that it does not have battery backup, so if you lose power, it resets.

When you lose power, you have to reset the clock all over again

If you live somewhere that loses power a lot, then you don't want this alarm clock (no battery backup), but if you have electricity most of the time, then this Sony is an excellent pick.
