Hard to program, makes a weird noise to wake up to, occasionally jumps to a different time zone for no reason.

Just received this today (2/13/2017) and it has this constant, annoying background noise, even when I turn the radio off and don't have any items that may cause interference nearby (e.g., cell phone)

It makes an insufferable buzzing noise even when turned off.

With this clock, there's no loud pop or sudden obnoxious noise - instead it begins with a soft beeping that gradually ramps up to its full volume over a few seconds.
