Sony ICFC-1 Alarm Clock Radio LED Black

    • As far as the quality, you get what you pay for leaning more of having a cheap plastic feel to it
    • It's very practical and I use a plastic dimming sheet over the numbers so they don't keep me awake
    • , i know its hollow plastic, i took it apart
    • Very cheap feel, thin plastic.
    • but it's build quality is like most everything else these days: cheap plastic.
    • But now they seem to have joined the ranks of the other big multinationals and produce exclusively cheap plastic crap, relying upon their market share to keep them rolling in money despite the shockingly poor quality of their products
    • Buttons are VERY tiny and recessed, the labeling is molded into the plastic, same color as the cheap plastic case and impossible to read, its very difficult to set the time or alarm, (I am a technical supervisor and deal with complex tech equipment all day)
    • Had this for a couple months, worked fine until the clock started racing forward and backward as if it were possessed
    • Frustrating as you can't reset them
    • I hate getting up and seeing blue/green lights, the orange color is really nice in the dark as well as during the day.
    • You can dim the numbers, the radio comes in as clear as my old radio, I don't accidentally change the time or the alarm setting, and there's a separate "permanently off" switch for the alarm (for weekends) as well as an "off-for-today" button so that I don't have to remember to turn it back on the next day
    • What a big disappointment the Alarm or the radio don`t work what a piece of junk!!!!!!!
    • What a big disappointment the Alarm or the radio don`t work what a piece of junk!!!!!!!
    • I it worked.
    • If it dies I just hope they're still making this model, because I'll probably want to get another
    • and if I had the portable a/c running you could barely hear the alarm when it went off
