I bought myself a pair of Sennheiser CX300 and they were my favorite ear buds doing something that ear buds tend to suck at

They are pretty bulky and the changeable ear caps make hardly any difference...hurts your ears after about an hour

After switching them though, I can wear the earbuds for hours without my ears getting sore, which has been a problem for me with other earbuds I have tried

If I can complain about anything, i think modern apple ear plugs have a deeper bass and deeper sound
