The noise cancellation may not block ALL of the sound around you, but it blocks a significant amount to appreciate the music you are listening to a lot more.

Ear recalibration is a reality and occurs when the right equalization and balance goes to the right music genre, if you listened with a "bad" or "wrong" equalization, the right one might seem you odd and it will take time to your ears to get use to

But they suck for richer music

These have a very reasonable bass and sound very good playing music

I have given these ear buds great care and don't even listen to loud music.

Any music with background intricacies, choral backgrounds, or dramatic build up seems to fall flat with these earbuds
